Angélique

HR Manager

We offer a balance between the customer experience and the employee experience, so that throughout their professional career they can truly experience excellence.

Angélique, who are you and what is your role at Parnasse?

I am the HR Manager and my everyday role at Parnasse is to listen to the managers and employees, support them on a daily basis, and build a personalized, end-to-end relationship of service. I am responsible for compliance with regulations, and good operational management in line with the HR policies. For example, I support them in implementing the Orange Group Engage 2025 strategy, and with skills development and the related appraisals. My role is based on support, individual and collective advice, the HR processes to be implemented: career paths, compensation, employment, social dialog, etc.

As Parnasse is a human-sized entity, it allows a real closeness between the teams in the field and our members. It's a value that I try to nurture in our employees, as it is a real plus for Parnasse, which helps to create team spirit.

How did you arrive at Parnasse?

I joined Orange in 2000 as a claims advisor. I am particularly sensitive to the human aspect and customer relations, which is the leitmotif of my career.

After that job, I wanted to develop my skills by changing position and so I opted, still in the area of human relationships and service to others, for the field of skills development and training. I stayed in that function for several years at Orange Corporate and I broadened my activities to include other human resources processes. I then became an assistant HR manager, before becoming a fully-fledged HR Manager.

It was being in the field with Orange that was the best school for the development of my human resources skills. I benefited from mentoring and management support. It really helped me and is still ongoing today as I continue to exercise the same function.

I have now been at Parnasse for two years. I wanted to join this brand because working in a small, human-sized and therefore operational entity appealed to me, and it is a great learning curve as I get to deal with all aspects of HR.

How do you fulfill the Parnasse brand promise in your work?

At Parnasse, the customer experience lies at the heart of our strategy, with innovation, the cutting-edge and excellence being at the forefront.

As for human resources, we offer a balance between the customer experience and the employee experience, so that throughout their professional career they can truly experience excellence.

On the hiring side, I meet people with a true appetite for customer relations who espouse the values of Parnasse (peace of mind, excellence, exclusivity, cutting-edge).

What is the most essential thing in your daily work at Parnasse?

Closeness.

At Parnasse, which is a human-sized entity, I can get to know the employees intimately, I can share and take the time needed with each of them, thus providing individualized solutions. For that reason, the notion of closeness is vital in my job.

Tell us about your most memorable or unusual experience at Parnasse.

The most memorable story I can share with you is about my arrival at Parnasse.

In the whole of my career, I had never had a welcome like the one they gave me at Parnasse. When I arrived, after being introduced, a large number of colleagues and managers took the time to talk to me and get to know me, something I really appreciated. I compare it to all the attention that we normally reserve for our Parnasse members on a daily basis. This consideration gives a wonderful impression when you arrive at Parnasse, whether you are a member or an employee.

I have truly found the human aspect and closeness ever since my arrival at Parnasse and right up to now. As the Human Resources Manager, my job was made a lot easier thanks to this initial contact with the teams.

What does this experience bring to you in your professional and personal life?

In my professional life, this experience has given me a wealth of experience in dealing with the everyday issues I face at Parnasse. As time goes by, I have acquired more skills in my chosen function and I am working on the right way to approach this customer relations excellence and balanced attention. So, for me, it is great experience that I will be able to draw on in my future career.

From a personal point of view, the experience has allowed me to discover the universe and the 'codes' of marketing luxury, especially in the field of digital technology, and that is thanks to the close relationship we have between all the teams.

What are your reasons for working at Parnasse?

Firstly, being able to work in this human-sized entity helps to learn more about operational issues through the close contact with the other teams.

I would say that at Parnasse, there is a strong feeling of belonging emerging: it's a fun place to work and there's a good atmosphere.

I have enjoyed every moment at Parnasse over the last two years. This is what I was looking for in my career plan and, thanks to Parnasse, I have been able to challenge myself professionally and develop new skills. A learning process that I put into practice with my team, the employees, the managers and our colleagues at Orange France.

Is the fact that Parnasse is Orange's exclusive brand important to you?

It is a source of pride for me to be working at Parnasse, the exclusive  Orange brand.

As a Human Resources Manager, I can clearly see that in the Orange ecosystem Parnasse is an entity where all the employees dream of working at some point in their careers: it might be because they want to belong to the Group's exclusive brand, or work in a human-sized entity, or share the values of Parnasse, or perhaps contribute to the customer relations excellence that the brand delivers. The employees want to work here for all these good reasons.

Share a quotation with us (that you have heard, experienced or that you simply like) linked to your job at Parnasse.

I would like to share a quotation by André Gide, the French writer, which, to me, illustrates very nicely the values of my job concerning individuality: "Let every moment renew your vision. The wise man is he who constantly wonders afresh."

When meeting with an applicant, an employee or a manager, it is important not to start out with prejudices - which is essential in my job - while always keeping an open mind, and this is even more important in the field of luxury digital technology in which technologies are developed so rapidly.
